I finally found the one old site my dad used to check, and it cost me $12 to see it
My dad used to check a fishing report page for Lake Erie every morning back in the 2000s, and it went behind a $12 yearly paywall around 2011. I paid it last week just to see if it was still running, and it is, but the last report is from 2014 and it's just one guy named Dale saying the walleye were "spotty." So I'm out 12 bucks and now I have a login to a site with one dead page. Has anyone else paid for a membership to a site that turned out to be a ghost town?
