That $30 vintage web counter site still counts hits from 2003
I dropped $30 on some old hit counter service that still tracks page views, and it showed my Geocities page from way back getting 12,000 hits. The traffic is dead now but the counter still works, which is kind of creepy but also cool. Anyone else keep paying for old internet relics just to see them tick?

Man, 12,000 hits on a dead page is wild to think about. That counter is basically a ghost keeping score in an empty stadium.
