Update: I used to skip every site with a hit counter, then a guy on Neocities made me rethink it

I always wrote off pages with those old hit counters as dead junk, but a user named Marv on the Neocities forum pointed out the counter itself is sometimes the only proof a site still pulls traffic, and it's fun to watch. I went back to a 1998 fan page for the Cleveland trolley system and the counter was up 2,400 hits since March, which is way more than I expected. Now I actually check the numbers before I write a site off. Has anyone else found a page where the counter is still ticking along?
