Bought a $200 'magic' detangling brush set, total scam

Spent $200 on that viral ionic detangling brush set and my curly clients' hair still snagged like crazy, had to toss them after 3 weeks, anyone else fall for these influencer brush gimmicks or got a real brand that works?
