Dropped $80 on a new shears sharpening service and my cuts feel off

I sent my main pair of shears to a new place I saw online, and they came back looking shiny but the edge just isn't right, it's pulling hair instead of slicing clean. Has anyone else had a bad sharpen from a mail-in service and know a good fix?

Ugh that's the worst feeling, sorry man. Heard some mail-in places use a one-size-fits-all grind that can ruin the geometry.

Did they maybe use the wrong angle for your shears?
