Dropped a full bowl of color on a client's white shirt at the salon yesterday
I was mixing a custom shade for a balayage at Salon Blu in downtown Austin when my elbow knocked over the bowl and it splattered all over her silk blouse, so I grabbed the nearest stain remover and dabbed it fast while apologizing, and she actually laughed it off and let me finish the service for free to make up for it, has anyone else had a close call like that with a client's clothes?

That she actually laughed it off" - that's a lifesaver right there. I had one where a client brought her toddler and the kid grabbed a tube of semi permanent dye and squeezed it all over her white jeans. I was ready to cancel everything and offer to buy new ones, but she just laughed and said "good thing I didn't wear my good pair." I still finished the haircut for free and threw in some deep conditioner. Sometimes people just get it, you know? Like they understand that accidents happen and it's not the end of the world. But I still keep a pack of those disposable capes nearby now just in case.
