Worst perm day" - man, that brings back memories of this time I watched my buddy try to perm his girlfriend's hair in college. Dude used the wrong size rods and she ended up looking like a poodle that got stuck in a hurricane lol. Took her like two months to get it fixed at a real salon. I'm guessing yours was probably way worse though since you're a pro. Phoenix heat plus perm chemicals sounds like a recipe for something going sideways quick. Hope you at least got a good story out of it.

Oh wow, I can't believe that poodle story, that's wild! A whole two months to fix it, that must have been rough. @ryan653, I had a similar thing happen early on in my career actually, a lady wanted tight curls and I left the solution on a few minutes too long. Her hair basically snapped off at the roots in some spots. She was not happy, and I sure learned my lesson about timing real quick.
