I used to dread doing curly cuts, then I stopped fighting the hair

For years I treated curly hair like straight hair that just needed more layers, and every client left looking like a triangle. Last month a client in Austin brought in a photo of her dry cut and insisted I try it, so I did the whole thing dry, section by section. Now I never wet a curl before cutting, and the difference is unreal. Has anyone else switched to dry cutting curls and seen their clients stop complaining about shrinkage?

Dry cutting changed everything for me too. Shrinkage complaints basically vanished.
