PSA: Use a silicone mat under your color bowls, saved me 40 minutes of scraping last Tuesday
Last Tuesday I had a double process on a client with level 4 hair and knocked over my bowl of 20 vol while reaching for foils. It went all over my station counter and I spent almost 40 minutes scraping dried developer off the laminate before my next appointment. Now I lay a cheap silicone baking mat under my mixing area. It caught a full spill on Thursday and I just peeled it up and rinsed it in the sink. Does anyone else use these, or is there a better mat that stays put on a wet counter?
