Serious question, did I mess up my whole color theory by not letting foils process 35 mins at the shop in Dallas?
I was mixing color at my station in Dallas and my mentor walked by and asked why I always set a timer for 35 minutes on every single foil client. She pointed out that a level 4 root touch up and a level 9 full highlight need totally different timing, and I had just been copying what I saw at my first salon 4 years ago. How did you all figure out your own processing times instead of just going by one number?
