That Tuesday last month where I did 8 wedding updos back to back

I booked 8 bridal party updos in one day for a wedding near Austin and by the third one my wrists were already cramping. The bride wanted each one completely different even though they all had the same dress. Has anyone else had a day like that where you just push through the pain?

8 completely different updos same dress" sounds like the bride was testing your wrists like a stress test.

8 updos in one day? That's a lot, sure, but honestly every wedding season has a couple of those "survival mode" Saturdays. My record is 7 blowouts for a quince party and I just took ibuprofen and iced my wrists between clients. The bride wanting "completely different" styles is annoying but that's her money and her day. It's not like you're doing surgery, you're doing hair.
