Warning: Blew $120 on that keratin treatment kit from Amazon
Ngl I shouldve known better. Saw this kit with like 400 five star reviews and figured hey worth a shot. Followed the instructions exactly - washed with their special shampoo, blow dried section by section, flat ironed at 380 degrees. Hair felt okay for like 2 days then it just went back to frizzy. Now I'm stuck with this half empty bottle and refund isnt happening because I already used it. Anyone else fall for those Amazon keratin kits or is there actually one that works?

Tried one of those Brazilian blowout kits from a beauty supply store instead of Amazon. Cost about $45 and came with the actual smoothing solution and a special conditioner. Followed the steps careful - sectioned my hair into tiny parts, let the product sit for 30 minutes, then blow dried and flat ironed at 370. Lasted a good 6 weeks before I needed to redo it. Not perfect but way better than that Amazon scam stuff.

Respectfully, I gotta disagree with you on this one. Those beauty supply store kits are basically the same stuff you find on Amazon just with a different label slapped on it. I watched my sister do a full Brazilian blowout with a kit from a legit salon supply place and it still faded after about a month, plus her hair smelled like burnt chemicals for days after. The real deal Brazilian blowouts at a salon use professional grade stuff that actually bonds to the hair differently than these at-home kits. You might be getting 6 weeks out of it but a proper salon one usually goes 3-4 months easy.
