Why don't stylists talk about burnout from back to back color corrections?

I used to book 6 color corrections a day in Austin and just push through, but after a 9 hour shift last spring I caught myself mixing toner wrong twice and had to redo a whole foil job. Now I cap myself at 4 and block 15 minutes between each client to reset, even if it means turning away money. Has anyone else changed their scheduling to protect their focus, or am I the only one who learned this the hard way?

Wait, you used to do SIX color corrections in one day? That's insane. I mean, I've done four before and by the fourth my brain is basically soup, so I genuinely don't know how you survived that long without something snapping. Mixing toner wrong is a scary line to cross, that's like the universe telling you to slow down before you accidentally melt someone's hair off. I'm honestly impressed you caught it on the second mistake instead of after sending a client out with orange roots and a lawsuit.
