Finally figured out my swing radius was off because of a bad habit with the load chart

I was always a little slow setting up for a tight lift downtown, and last week my rigger just said, 'You're reading the chart for the jib, but you're not using it.' I'd been adding the jib's length to my mental math for the boom, which was making me way too cautious. Anyone else have a simple chart mistake that cost them time?
