Hit 10,000 hours on my Grove RT and it got me thinking

I was doing a quick pick on a job site in Portland yesterday and glanced down at the hour meter. Saw 10,004 hours and just kind of stopped for a second. That machine and I have been through a lot together - moved steel beams for a hospital expansion, set HVAC units on a school roof, even helped pull a stuck truck out of a ditch. It surprised me how many days I remember clear as day, not because they were big jobs, but because the conditions sucked or the setup was tight. Anybody else have a specific number that made them stop and think about all the lifts that got them there?

So did he have to drop his bucket size to keep cycle times reasonable, or was it still pulling hard enough to make up for it?
