Just realized the load chart app on my phone is actually more reliable than the paper one in the cab
I said no way for like six months whenever the younger guys on site pulled out their phones to check charts. Then last Tuesday in Norfolk we had a 40 foot pick at 28 foot radius and my paper chart was so sun faded I couldn't read the numbers. The kid next to me pulled his phone out, had the answer in about 4 seconds, and it matched what the engineer had. I still keep the paper one in the cab but I'm not going to pretend the app is wrong anymore. Anyone else switch over or do you still trust the book?
