Spent $500 on a new wireless headset for the cab and it's a total game changer
I got the ProComm 9000 after my old wired one kept getting caught on the seat lever. The noise cancellation is so good I can actually hear the signal person clearly over the wind and engine now, even on a windy day at the Denver port site. Has anyone else switched to a wireless setup and noticed a big difference?

Oh man, the noise cancellation alone is worth it. I used to have to guess half the hand signals when the wind picked up, now it's crystal clear. It's also way safer not having that cord snag on everything when you're climbing down. I bet your neck and shoulders feel better at the end of the day too, not being yanked around.

Yeah the cord snag thing is real. I read about a guy who tripped on his headphone cord coming off a ladder, could have been bad. Wireless just makes sense for that kind of work.
