Can we talk about that ad for the "haunted" blender on CL?

Saw a listing last week for a blender that supposedly only works after midnight and the guy wanted $200 for it. Said it was possessed by a ghost chef named Gerald. Did anyone else catch that or was I the only one scrolling that late?

Oh man, that's hilarious! My friend actually messaged that guy out of curiosity, not to buy it but just to ask about Gerald the ghost chef. The seller apparently wrote back a whole novel about how Gerald was a short-order cook from the 1950s who died in a diner fire and now haunts kitchen appliances. She said the guy seemed super serious about it too, like he genuinely believed the blender was haunted. I love how someone just decided their blender was possessed and slapped a $200 price tag on it like that's a reasonable ask for a spooky smoothie maker.

Hold on, wasn't it like a $200 blender though, not a smoothie maker? Seems like you're underselling the price of this haunted kitchen gadget.
