Drove by the old flea market lot and it's now a storage place

Stopped for gas near the old Route 66 swap meet in Tulsa and the whole dirt lot where I found a 1970s slot car set for $15 is just rows of metal sheds now. Anyone else miss the random junk piles where you could haggle a stranger down to 5 bucks over a busted toaster?

Drove past the old quarry flea market outside town last spring. Same thing, all those gravel lots are just row after row of storage units now. I still remember pulling a vintage train set out of a rusted toolbox for eight bucks, the old guy threw in a bag of extra tracks for free. It just felt like digging for treasure, not shopping. Those places are gone for good and that kinda stings.
