Got roasted for buying a $50 'haunted' doll off Craigslist but it's the best decor I own

My friend group thinks I'm nuts because I dropped fifty bucks on a porcelain doll that the seller claimed was 'possessed by a 1920s farm girl named Margaret.' They all laughed at me when I put it on my shelf last month but honestly it's got more character than any Target decoration I ever bought. The thing even came with a typed backstory about how Margaret used to feed stray cats. Has anyone else picked up something weird from a FB Marketplace listing that actually turned out awesome?

Honestly, "best decor" is a stretch for a haunted doll from Craigslist. I'm all for unique stuff but it's a doll with a story, not a statement piece. Tbh I'd be more worried about where it's been than the backstory about Margaret and stray cats. Ngl if I walked into someone's place and saw that thing staring at me from a shelf I'd probably ask if they're okay. But hey, if it makes you happy and it's not actually moving around at night then you do you.
