Hot take: the "free" puppies on Craigslist are never actually free
Saw a post in Phoenix last week for free lab mix puppies, and the guy wanted a $250 "rehoming fee" plus proof I'd already bought a crate from his buddy's store. Half the people in the comments said that's just how you screen out bad owners, but the other half said it's a straight up paywall and a puppy mill front. Where do you all land on this one, is a rehoming fee normal or a red flag?
