That $15 mystery box from a flea market in Phoenix was pure cable trash

So last Saturday I saw this listing for a mystery box, dude said it had "collector electronics" and I figured why not for 15 bucks. Picked it up from some guy behind a gas station off the 10, and he was real sketchy about it. Got home and opened it up, it was literally 12 tangled micro USB cables, 2 cracked screen protectors for a Galaxy S5, and a sticky note that said "have fun lol". I wasn't even mad, honestly I laughed for like 10 minutes straight. My buddy said I should've checked the listing photos closer, but they were all blurry on purpose. Has anyone else gotten properly ripped off by one of these mystery box ads, or is it just me being dumb here?

My buddy Marcus got one of those once. Paid 20 bucks for what they called a "retro gaming bundle" at a swap meet. Opened it in the parking lot. Three broken PS2 controllers, a GameCube memory card with someone's old save file, and a copy of Madden 07 with the disc cracked in half. He kept the memory card though. Said it was like finding a stranger's diary. Still brings it up every time someone mentions mystery boxes, so at least he got a story out of it.
