That ad for a 'haunted' wheel of cheese made me rethink my whole scrolling habit

Saw a listing on Facebook Marketplace for wheel of gouda that the seller claimed was haunted by a dairy farmer's ghost. Asking $75, and they said it 'moves slightly when you aren't looking.' I laughed, but then I realized I've spent 2 hours digging through junk like this every night. It hit me that half the fun isn't the item, it's the story people invent to sell their clutter. Anyone else find themselves scrolling these ads just for the weird descriptions instead of actually wanting to buy anything?
