That shady Facebook Marketplace sale actually worked out

I was looking for a used push mower and saw one listed for 40 bucks with a photo so blurry it looked like Bigfoot was selling it. Figured it was a scam or the thing would be held together with duct tape, but I messaged the guy anyway because I was desperate. Drove out to a house in Beaverton and the mower was a Honda HRX from 2018 with a clean deck and fresh oil change. Ran like a dream all season. Has anyone else taken a chance on a sketchy looking listing and gotten lucky?

And honestly sometimes the best deals come from the people who are just bad at taking photos and don't care about presentation. That Honda HRX is a tank so for 40 bucks you basically stole it from someone who probably just wanted it gone. I bet that seller is still wondering why nobody else messaged them.
