Unpopular opinion: the 'haunted doll' ads are the least scary things on Craigslist

Went to a flea market outside Columbus last weekend and there were three separate booths selling those creepy porcelain dolls people list online as 'possessed.' I've seen at least a dozen of these listings over the years and they're all the same. Same blurry photo, same story about a grandmother's attic, same $75 price. Honest question, has anyone ever actually bought one of these things? Or is it just a running joke at this point?

Whoa, hold on there! I actually have to push back a little on the price. Around here, those things usually go for $40 or $50 max, unless they come with some wild story about moving on their own. I've seen people flip them for $150 if they toss in a "witch's curse" and a blurry video, but that's rare. Most sellers just want them gone so they're basically giving them away.
