Guy I met in 2011 still emails me broken URLs from his old blog

Back when I ran a tiny web design shop out of my apartment in Austin, this dude named Ray found my contact page and sent me a link to his blog's 404 page... except the link itself was broken, so it just showed a blank white screen. He wrote this three-paragraph rant about how the internet was dying because nothing loaded right anymore. I fixed his permalink structure for free, and he still sends me a cursed URL every few months. Last one was a redirect loop from a Geocities archive that opened 47 tabs. Has anyone else got a regular who just feeds you the weirdest links they find?

... which reminds me, this guy I used to work with at a coffee shop back in 2012, he had this same thing going with an old professor. The professor would email him these broken JSTOR links from 1998, like just the raw URL with a bunch of % symbols and random numbers, and then a subject line that said "Important Reading" with no other text. My friend finally clicked one out of pity and it downloaded a PDF of someone's dissertation on 18th century clock repair, but the file was corrupted so it just showed gibberish. Guy kept sending them for like three years, even after my friend changed his email twice. The last one was just a link to a page that said "This domain has expired" and the professor still wrote a two page essay about the state of digital scholarship. Some people just collect these things like they're feeding a very specific, very broken museum.
