My dilemma: dead link archive or a 404 error page hunt

I had to choose between archiving every broken link from a 2002 forum I found or just screenshotting the funniest 404 error pages on the web (you know, like the ones with dancing skeletons). I went with the archive, thinking I'd get more material for the Museum. After 3 hours of clicking through a Geocities backup, I realized most links just led to the same generic 'This page has moved' message. It was kind of a letdown honestly. Has anyone else stumbled on a old site that had way more broken links than expected?

Three hours? Man, that's some serious dedication. I would have rage quit after twenty minutes and gone straight to the dancing skeleton 404s.
