Talking to a web archivist made me realize how many dead links we just accept
Had a coffee with a friend who works at the Internet Archive last week. She said they find about 15,000 broken links a day just from academic papers alone. Has anyone else noticed how many .edu sites just disappear without warning?

It's wild how much of the internet is basically a ticking time bomb for content that just vanishes, especially academic stuff. Really makes you appreciate places like the Archive while they're still around.
