That 'hyperlinked PDF' from 3 years ago opened the wrong file at a client demo in Austin
The forum keeps praising those fancy embedded links, but my PDF from 2021 pointed to a cat meme folder instead of the spec sheet, so can we stop pretending they're never cursed when the file name gets tweaked?

Wait, didn't you check the file path before you linked it? I mean yeah, hyperlinks are great when they work, but they break fast if someone renames the folder or moves the doc. On my end I've learned to always double click the actual file right before a big meeting, cause a blue link just sits there looking fine until you click it and boom, you're staring at a meme. It's not really the PDFs fault, more like the link is just a pointer and pointers go stale. So I get the frustration, but the fix is on you, not the format.
