Hit my first 1000 screen prints without a misregister last month
Was running a rush job for a local band in Milwaukee and something just clicked with how I set up the screens on the press, has anyone else had that moment where it all finally felt natural?

Hit a thousand clean prints and know exactly what you mean. That feeling when something clicks is like the whole world slows down for a second and your hands just know what to do. It happens in stuff like cooking too, where you stop measuring and just know when the dough feels right. Makes you realize most skills are just muscle memory waiting to kick in. Good on you for sticking with it and finding that groove.

Did you ever read that book "The Talent Code" by Daniel Coyle? He talks about this exact feeling, how your brain builds these special pathways when you practice something over and over. It takes about that many repetitions for your body to just take over. I remember struggling with woodworking for years, and then one day you just start making cuts without measuring twice because your hand knows where to go. That cooking comparison is spot on too, I've been making bread long enough that I can tell if the dough needs more water just by touching it. It's like your brain is finally listening to what your hands have been trying to say the whole time. You've earned that groove, and it only gets better from here.
