My first custom print job was a total mess because I tried to do it all in one go
Back in 2018, I tried to print 50 shirts for a local 5k run using a single screen and cheap ink, and the colors bled everywhere. Now, I test print a single shirt first, wait a full day, and then run the whole batch. The change happened after I had to refund half the order and eat the cost. Anyone else have a 'test print' rule they swear by now?

The test print rule is just like the old carpenter's rule "measure twice, cut once" but for t-shirts. I think everyone has that one moment where they rush something and it blows up in their face, whether it's printing shirts or even just cooking a new recipe without tasting it first. After you mess up bad enough, you start building little checkpoints into your workflow that slow you down but save you from total disaster. It's funny how one expensive mistake can teach you a lesson that sticks with you forever, lol.

Ever try to fix a screen print with a hair dryer? I did that once and the vinyl just melted into a weird plastic blob on the shirt.
