Printed 500 shirts with a cheap DTG and wanted to throw it out the window

Switched to a different shop for a big order of 300 prints. Night and day. My little $300 machine would have taken three days and jammed on day one. Their commercial unit did it in 8 hours with zero issues. Has anyone else found a single piece of equipment that just made you realize you were working too hard?

You ever look at a machine and just feel personally attacked by how much time you wasted before? That DTG story hits close to home. I had this cheap vinyl cutter that would shift alignment halfway through every job, and I thought that was just how it worked. Then I got a proper industrial unit and wanted to slap my past self for being so patient with that junk. It's wild how one tool can show you you were basically working in hard mode for no reason.

@wren307 hit it right on the head. Why do we put up with junk for so long? I was the same with a cheap heat press that never got hot enough. Felt like a fool when I finally got a real one.
