Vent: Customer asked me to reprint a logo 6 times because the blue was 'off'
Had a guy in Des Moines last month who kept saying the cyan was too dark on his business cards. I swapped it out 5 times with different proofs and he still complained. Has anyone else dealt with someone like this who just can't make up their mind?

Hold on, gotta disagree a bit here lol. I think calling it "can't make up their mind" is kinda harsh on the customer sometimes. Yeah, it sucks to redo stuff that many times, but the client is paying for a specific look they have in their head and they just can't see it on a screen. They're not trying to mess with you on purpose, they're just bad at explaining what they actually want. A physical swatch is a solid move, but if the lighting in their office is different from the print shop, it can still look wonky. Honestly, I'd rather they be picky upfront than approve something and then blast me online later for the color being wrong. The real problem is usually that nobody has the same monitor calibration, not that the customer is being difficult.

Had a lady ask me to reprint 500 flyers three times because the green on her logo "looked too yellow." I even sent her a physical color swatch before the final run. She approved it, then called back saying it was wrong. Some people just get stuck in their head about a color and no amount of proofing is going to fix it.
