Wasted $150 on a custom sticker order that wouldn't even stick
I ordered a batch of vinyl stickers from a random print shop online, thought i was saving a buck. They came in last week and they barely grab onto anything. Tried putting one on my laptop, it peeled off by lunch. Contacted the shop and they said 'surface prep issue' but i cleaned it with alcohol and everything. Anybody else run into this where the adhesive is just bad?

Magic eraser is an interesting tip but I gotta ask - did you actually test them on a smooth clean surface right out of the package? Like a piece of glass or something? Because I've had shops send me stickers where the release liner was too old or something and it left a film on the adhesive side. Try sticking one to a clean glass jar or a window and see if it holds there first. That would tell you if it's the sticker or just your surfaces being weird. If they fail on glass too then the shop definitely sent you a bad batch and they're just trying to blame you.
