yeah i actually just read something last week about how most password breaches happen through cloud storage not physical theft. someone tested this and said a notebook in a locked drawer is actually one of the safest methods out there. @graytorres i kinda get what you mean about speed too, i used to get so annoyed waiting for my password manager to load on my phone. but i feel like the sticky note trick can backfire if you're not careful about where you put it. like if you stick it under your keyboard or on your monitor that's basically asking for trouble. i keep a small index card in my wallet with just my most important logins and that's worked pretty well so far.

The sticky note trick is actually the reason I stopped using password managers altogether. I had LastPass for 2 years and it got breached twice, lost a bunch of logins. Now I just keep a physical little notebook in my desk drawer with all my passwords written in plain text. Nobody's gonna break into my house to steal my Netflix password. Plus the sticky note method is way faster than digging through an app when I need to log into something quick.
