I realized I was making my password manager do all the work for nothing

I was typing my master password directly into my browser for Bitwarden, and my friend saw and asked why I wasn't using the keyboard shortcut to auto-fill. I'd been manually copying it from the extension pop-up for years, which was way less secure against keyloggers. Anyone have a better method for pulling up the vault quickly?

Yeah, the "typing my master password directly into my browser" thing is a real risk. My buddy did something similar for ages, but he had his vault set to lock after like 5 minutes of no use. He was typing that master password so many times a day he basically had it memorized, which defeats the whole point of a random password! He finally switched to using a PIN for quick unlocks, which feels way safer than typing the full thing constantly.
