My IT buddy told me to use a password manager and I blew it off for 2 years
He kept saying 'just use Bitwarden or something' and I kept typing the same 3 passwords everywhere until my email got hacked last March. Has anyone else had to explain to their bank that no, you did not buy $400 worth of gift cards in 10 minutes?

Hang on, did your IT buddy ever show you how password managers actually work? Most people think they're just a digital sticky note, but mine helped me see I had 14 different accounts using the same reused password with slight variations. I got hacked because one site had a data breach, and they just tried that email/password combo everywhere else until it worked.
