Serious question, ever spend way too long on a simple password reset?
I just spent 45 minutes trying to get into an old account because the security questions were things like 'first pet's name' from 1998... I couldn't remember if it was 'Spike' or 'Spiker'. Anyone have a better system for keeping track of that old info?

Oh man, I feel your pain. 45 minutes is nothing, I once spent over an hour trying to remember if my "security color" was blue or teal. It's maddening. @the_spencer is exactly right, it's the old ones that really get you. I finally started keeping a little notebook in my desk drawer with nothing but old account details like that. It's not fancy, but it beats the headache of trying to guess what I was thinking 20 years ago.

First pet from 1998" is the worst. Do you actually write that stuff down somewhere safe now, or just hope you remember?
