The fake email that almost cost me my login credentials at a coffee shop

I was sitting at a Starbucks on Broadway last Tuesday, and a guy next to me asked to borrow my phone to show me a photo. Instead, he tried to swipe my password while I was typing my email login into a fake Wi-Fi portal. Has anyone else had strangers pull something like that in public?
