Why does nobody talk about password managers vs. browser autofill for security?

Last month my buddy got his Facebook drained because he trusted Chrome's autofill on a sketchy site, but I've been using Bitwarden for 3 years without an issue. Do you think the slight inconvenience of a manager is worth it over the convenience of built-in autofill?

Eh, losing a Facebook account isn't the end of the world.

Saw a story about a guy who lost 15 years of photos that way.

My cousin lost her whole account a few years back and it had all the photos from her kids growing up from like age 2 to 10. That's not just some random social media thing, that's her whole family history and she cried for a week. People put a lot of their life on there and it's not always backed up somewhere else. Facebook doesn't really care either, they just lock you out and say sorry.
