Shoutout to the old DIY home repair site that vanished in 2018

I still miss that site. Forget the name now but it had step by step photos for everything. Fixing a leaky faucet, patching drywall, even pouring a small concrete slab. Every page had the exact measurements and tool lists. No fluff, no ads plastered everywhere. Wayback Machine has some scraps but most of the image links are dead. I tried finding it again last year and nothing. Anybody else have an old resource like that they wish was still around?

Buddy had his whole garage renovation saved on there, gone forever when the site died.

Nah, that's on him though. If something matters you gotta back it up yourself, not just trust some random website to hold it forever.
