Still kicking myself over that lost blog about old video game glitches

There was this blog I found back in 2012 called "Pixel Glitches" that had these deep dives into obscure NES and SNES bugs. The guy running it had documented like 200 different glitches with screenshots and weird workarounds that no one else seemed to have. I went back to grab a specific one about a level skip in Super Mario 3 last month and the whole thing was just... gone. No archive.org snapshot, no redirect, nothing. I even tried the old URL on a cached view but it came up blank. The guy must have taken the whole thing down without warning. Has anyone else run into a niche blog that just vanished with no trace? I really want to find that Super Mario 3 article if it's floating around somewhere.

Man, that "just... gone" part really hits home. I had the same thing happen with a forum post about a Zelda: Link's Awakening glitch that let you walk through walls. That one post had all these neat tricks you couldn't find anywhere else, and one day the whole site just vanished like it never existed. It's rough when something that felt so permanent just disappears with no warning. I hope you tracked down that Super Mario 3 article somehow, maybe there's a cached version hiding somewhere under a different URL. Sometimes if you search really specific phrases from the article in quotes, it can turn up a copy that someone else saved.

Did that mean you could skip the entire game or just get through walls in specific rooms? Because with Link's Awakening on the original Game Boy, some of those glitches only worked with certain ROM versions.
