That cached page I saved from 2007 about DIY wind turbines is actually still up somehow
I thought the Wayback Machine was just for memes until I needed instructions for a project and every link I clicked was dead. Then I stumbled on a cached copy of some guy's blog from New Mexico that had the exact wiring diagram I needed, saved in 2007. Anyone else rely on old cached pages more than they want to admit?

My buddy who works at the local library mentioned that the Wayback Machine gets more traffic than most people realize. He said researchers and hobbyists use it constantly for old technical manuals and government docs that just vanish from the internet. I found a cached copy of a PDF from 2005 about restoring a 1970s tractor that was completely gone from the original host. The guy who wrote it passed away a few years back too, so it's wild to think his work is still out there helping people fix old engines.
