That cached version of the 2006 Photoshop tutorial I could never find again
I swore up and down I remembered a specific tutorial from some random blog about turning photos into watercolor paintings. Like step by step, the exact brush settings and everything. Tried Wayback Machine and it pulled up a broken page for years. Then I found a .txt file someone had saved on a forum from 2007. It was the whole tutorial word for word. Has anyone else stumbled on a random text file that saved a tutorial you thought was gone forever?

Is it really that deep though? It's just an old text file, not like you dug up a fossilized dinosaur bone or something.

Are you really getting misty-eyed over a text file? I've got old .txt files I wrote in middle school and they're cringey, not sentimental.
