The old Bowflex forums vanished overnight. Had a huge thread about repairing the 1996 model.

I used to go there for help on my dad's old Bowflex. The whole archive just disappeared one day in 2018. Does anyone have a cached copy of the tension cable replacement guide?

Same thing happened to me when I went back to find a mod guide for the 1996 model. That whole cable replacement thread was the best one on the site.

Man, "the best one on the site" is so true. It's wild how those old threads are total goldmines, but they're always the first ones to get lost when something breaks. I feel like that happens with everything now, not just forums. Like the perfect playlist on an old iPod or a recipe from a family cookbook, you realize how good it was only when it's gone.
