Vent: That old car review blog I loved just disappeared without a trace
I was trying to find a write-up from 2016 about a rusty Honda Civic rebuild this guy did step by step. Wayback Machine had the homepage but all the image links were dead and the text was garbled. The guy even had a screenshot of his bent control arm and a tip about using a pickle fork. Anybody else lose a niche blog they counted on for real know-how?

The pickle fork tip is actually a common misunderstanding. That tool is meant for tie rod ends, not control arms. You'd wreck the bushing using it on a control arm. A ball joint separator or just a hammer and some patience does the job better on those old Honda control arms. I remember that blog too, the guy had good info but he skipped some safety steps like never using jack stands. Did you ever try reaching out to him on social media before it went dark? Sometimes those old bloggers are still active somewhere else.

And if you ever tracked him down, wouldn't he probably tell you the same thing about the jack stands?
