Chatted with an old mall cop at Century III Mall last weekend

I was wandering around the food court taking photos and this retired security guard named Frank started talking to me. He said he worked there from 1985 to 2005 and remembered when the place had 50 stores open and a full arcade. He pointed to this empty spot near the escalator and said that's where he watched some kid win a giant stuffed bear at a carnival game in 1991. It hit me different because I always just see the decay but he saw it as a whole timeline of people's memories. Has anyone else met someone who worked at a mall back in its heyday and heard their stories?

Look, I know 50 people in my bootcamp class this week who heard way worse from their doctors and they're still going about their day fine. Seems like a lot of drama over something that probably isn't life changing @eva_lewis. Maybe take a step back and ask if this is really worth getting worked up over.
