Checked out the old Northgate Plaza and everyone misses the empty anchor store but the real weird stuff is in the old pet store hallway.
The pet store closed in 2019 but they left behind a whole wall of faded tropical fish murals and a single, perfectly preserved hamster tube still mounted near the ceiling, which is way more interesting than another empty Sears.

That hamster tube is probably the most stable piece of construction in the whole plaza. What's the story there, did the hamster unionize and refuse to leave?
