Found a working arcade machine in an abandoned mall near Detroit

Was poking around the old Lakeside Mall outside Detroit last Tuesday and found a still-plugged-in Street Fighter II cabinet in a food court that's been closed since 2018. The machine booted up and everything, joystick was a little sticky but the screen looked fine. Anyone else ever find something that was still running in a dead mall?

Honestly, is it really that deep? It's just an arcade machine that someone probably forgot to unplug or maybe a maintenance guy has been keeping it running for kicks. People act like finding a dusty Street Fighter cabinet is some kind of supernatural experience. It's been sitting there for years, not like it's summoning ghosts or anything. The joystick was a little sticky? That's just old grease, not some mystical artifact. I get that it's cool, but let's not pretend it's some huge mystery or life-changing event. It's just a weird little find in a dead mall, nothing more.

Held down the medium punch button on Ken and it actually registered, felt like stepping back in time for a second. You think that machine's been drawing power this whole time or did someone sneak in to keep it alive?
