Saw a dead mall actually come back to life a little bit

I hit up the Mercer Mall in Bluefield, West Virginia a year ago and it was just a dark hallway with a Bath & Body Works. Went back last weekend and there's a new game store and a taco spot in the food court. Someone put money into fixing the lights and the floors too. Has anyone else seen a place turn around like that?

I used to think dead malls were done for, but that actually gives me hope.
